Love to take photos? Take your camera everywhere you go? Would you like to see your photo published in a magazine? Now is your chance!
The Bridge: Connecting You to Communities in Southeast Missouri, our new community magazine, is hosting a contest for photos that will be featured throughout the magazine. What better way way to showcase a community than by the people who are living in it day to day?
The Southeast Missourian staff will choose the photos from the contest that will be published in the magazine (online voting does not affect the Missourian's staff picks)
Submit your favorite photos of someone or something in Cape Girardeau, Bollinger, Perry, Scott, Ste. Genevieve or Stoddard Counties.
Your photo must fall into one of these categories:
People - taking part in community events & activities
Nature - including trials, parks & recreational areas
Events - focusing on community fairs & festivals, holidays or other community events
Landmarks
You may submit as many photos as you like, but they must be at least 300 dpi.
After the submission period is over, you can view the entries and vote for your favorite out of all the categories. Each user may vote once a day. The photo with highest number of votes out of all the categories will be The Reader's Choice.
